MERA Delivers Customer Survey Results

MERA Systems today announced the results of a carrier survey that it held among its customers. The survey embraced VoIP carriers from 40 countries. MERA Systems aimed at evaluating customer satisfaction and finding out more about their needs in terms of the MERA solutions’ functionality and product line development.According to the survey, over 80% of customers remained loyal to MERA Systems and rated their overall satisfaction with the company's solutions as 4,5 out of 5. MERA Systems owes these results to high-quality products, customer service and efficient technical support. The company was named a trusted business partner always meeting its engagements. The majority of respondents especially emphasized the MERA team courtesy and caring attitude.
Enterprise VoIP services proved to gain commercial attractiveness in the past year. Over 50% of the respondents already deliver these services and about 25% plan to introduce them in the near future. The survey unveiled another important trend — value added services (IVR, advertisements, polls etc.), though not yet wide spread, are estimated as potentially attractive by over 30% of the carriers.
According to the poll, the new MERA products – MERA VoIP Transit Softswitch II, MERA IP Centrex – are of interest to most clients. Russian carriers are more likely to deploy MERA IP Centrex and foreign carriers are particularly keen on MVTS II. Carriers’ preferences account for the market situation – foreign telcos meet tense competition and need to adopt new approaches to bringing up their margins. MVTS II offers carriers reliable tools of flexible traffic routing based on cost and quality, and automated profitability control. On the other hand, the VoIP market of the CIS countries and Russia is more focused on enterprise services, which brings about enhanced interest in MERA IP Centrex.
