Long Beach, CA — November 18, 2003 — MERA Systems, Inc., a key provider of industry-leading session controllers, today announced that its MERA VoIP Transit Softswitch has been named "Best of Show" at the just-concluded INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO Fall 2003 in Long Beach, CA.
"Best of Show" is a prestigious award held twice a year by TMC Labs to recognize exhibitors whose products demonstrate innovation and vision in their use of technology. Winners submitted a thorough application and displayed and demonstrated their product on the INTERNET TELEPHONY™ Conference & EXPO Exhibit Hall floor.

The MERA VoIP Transit Softswitch (MVTS) is a full-featured session controller that ensures flexible and secure peering of VoIP carriers and performs both core and edge functions in packet networks. Equally important, the RADIUS-based dynamic routing capabilities increase call completion rate and enable carriers to choose the best termination paths in terms of route profit and availability.
