MVTS for Managing the VoIP-Provider Nets Built around QUINTUM Gateways
June 20, 2003
A series of tests run in the test lab by MERA Systems proved complete compatibility of MERA VoIP Transit Softswitch with the Tenor family of gateways (Quintum).
Quintum is one of the leading developers in the IP-telephony gateway industry. And the Tenor VoIP MultiPath products are quite popular with VoIP providers in North America.
MVTS allows registration of the Tenor MultiPath Switch as a RAS entity. It also ensures interoperation of the switch with the Cisco, VocalTec and Clarent equipment augmenting to a significant extent the dial-peer management capability of the gateway.
The compatibility of MVTS and Quintum Tenor attests to the highest standards of technology development pursued by MERA Systems and provides an additional evidence of their full compliance with the requirements of the American IP-telephony market.
The widespread character and use of the Quintum equipment which is common among the MERA Systems customers was the major compelling reason for the tests. The test findings permit us to recommend Quintum gateways for building VoIP nets controlled by the MVTS application.
